In this lesson, we discussed similarities and differences of four music videos. Two of which were rap, and the other two were dance. We discovered that the main similarities between the two rap videos were the excessive amounts of alcohol and drug references as well as objectifying girls in their videos. Whereas the dance videos were story-telling and portray young adults, specifically white middle class, going out and having fun partying. We found that the target audiences, however, for both videos were of a similar age range: 18-25 years old.
